Theater took a terrible hit during the pandemic worldwide, and it continues to be difficult.
It used to be that if actors weren’t bleeding profusely or had bones sticking out of their body, they went on stage. Actors ran offstage, threw up and went back out. After the pandemic, we’re not comfortable with that. Now, we actually cancel performances if there is Covid in the cast. If that happens, we reach out to our guests who have ticket reservations and work toward rescheduling a performance.
As business owners, we are responsible for the health and well being of our Actors and Crew and hope you will all understand the importance of that to us. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email melinda@lovestreetplayhouse.com.
Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe and enabling the return to live performances!
We hope and we pray that healing comes to us all and thankful that we can come back to a place where we can sit together as one. A community rich in spirit, kindness and JOY.
With much love
