Join the LoveUs Team
Help spread the word about Love Street Playhouse in your neighborhood! If you love Love Street plays and find yourself telling everyone you know about them, consider joining our LoveUs volunteer program. As a participant, you will get the inside scoop on Love Street productions by sitting in on rehearsals. Plus, you’ll receive marketing posters and postcards to post at businesses in your neighborhood. Construction Help
Every production requires a new set for the stage. Volunteers are always needed to help with this behind-the-scenes job. Do have the time or tools to help out? Contact us at melinda@lovestreetplayhouse.com and we'll be in touch.
Painting Help
After the set is built we always need help with painting. Grab your grubby clothes and we'll take care of the rest! We would love to have you join the painting fun. Contact melinda at melinda@lovestreetplayhouse.com.
Cleaning Help
Our building gets very dirty when we are creating our sets. Sawdust, paint, construction debris...it's a mess! If you have a few hours we could use your help. Sometimes the cleanup needs to be done just minutes or hours before a rehearsal. Or maybe it's during the day right before opening night. Any help you can give is valuable to us. Crew a Show
What is "crewing a show"? Our patrons come to our shows to be entertained by our actors. The talent. What most people don't realize is that there is an army of people who work on the shows behind-the-scenes. There are so many "crew" jobs:
- Props
- Light Board Operator
- Sound Board Operator
- Sound Designer
- Back Stage Crew
- Costume Wardrobe
- Stage Manager
